Safe ministry essentials is for anyone who has never done the safe ministry training before, or for those whose certificate expired more than three months previously. This training will take 5-6 hours to complete.
Safe ministry refresher is for those whose safe ministry certificate has not yet expired (or expired less than three months previously). You need to do a refresher course every three years to remain up-to-date. This training will take around 3 hours to complete.
Both face-to-face courses cost $15. You can pay by cash on the day.

The Armidale Youth Ministry Committee invites all those involved (or looking to be involved) in youth ministry to the 2024 Youth Ministry Training Day. This will be a brilliant opportunity to gather with like-minded leaders in youth ministry to think deeply about biblical principles for youth ministry, discipleship and evangelism.
Andy Stevenson from Youthworks (Head of Ministry Support and the SRE Office) will be joining us for the day to deliver several high-quality training seminars. Andy has been serving in youth ministry for over 20 years. He returns to lead the Ministry Support team at Youthworks after 9 years leading youth and young adults ministry at St Michael’s Anglican Cathedral Wollongong.
This is a free training day run for all those involved in youth ministry and their fellow leaders (and prospective leaders!).

The Third Session of the 51st Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Armidale will be held on
27-29 September, 2024
at the
Armidale Town Hall
Synod papers will be sent to each clergy person and lay representative 1 month before. They will also be made available online at that time. Please make sure you let us know if you have moved in the last 12 months.
Youth Muster is a conference run by the Anglican Diocese of Armidale for youth groups in Northern NSW. Over one big weekend, around 250 youth from North West NSW gather to have fun and learn from God’s word. Youth Muster has been running in various forms since the 1950s and it’s always a highlight of the youth ministry year.
At Youth Muster 24, we will be looking at the book of Joshua under the theme Strong and Courageous. It’s going to be a great weekend, don’t miss it!
