Anglican Diocese of Armidale

The Anglican Diocese of Armidale exists to glorify God by introducing people to Jesus and helping them home to heaven.

Ministry to young people is a vital part of the work of our churches. In such an extensive Diocese, youth ministry can vary from place to place. Despite these distances and differences, youth ministry in the Armidale Diocese is all about introducing all young people to Jesus and helping them home to heaven.

The Diocese has a Youth Encourager, Tim Stevens, the Vicar of Mungindi. He is supported in this role by a committee composed of people drawn from each of the Deaneries – Greg Stones and Aiden Sibrava (The Namoi), Kurt Langmead and Michael Hemans (New England), Amanda Wartnaby (The MacIntyre) and Lou Davies (The Peel).
