Itโ€™s been very encouraging over the last ten years to see more gospel outreach initiatives launched and grow around the Armidale Diocese. Our mission statement makes clear that we are on about introducing ALL people to Jesus and helping them home to heaven. According to recent census data, Indigenous people make up 11% of the population across Northwest NSW making it the largest minority group in our patch. The โ€œYarning about Indigenous Ministry Dayโ€ is a great opportunity to start thinking proactively into this important local mission field. Joining us this year we have Rev. Michael Duckett who is the Director of Indigenous Ministry in the Sydney Diocese and Rev. Simon Gillham from Moore College. Both men have excellent insights to share on Indigenous ministry, and it promises to be an encouraging gathering.

There will also be opportunities to share experiences, hear updates and pray for the ministries that are happening around our diocese.

The program starts at 9:30am but come a bit early and grab a cuppa!

You can register here.

*The ticket price includes morning tea and lunch.
