Synod is an important meeting for our Diocese. Clerical and lay representatives from every parish meet to celebrate all that God has been doing in our Diocese over the past 12 months and to set the direction for the next year. It is a bit like an AGM and a parliament rolled into one.
2025 is an election year. This means that each parish needs to elect new lay representatives (this will happen in April) who will attend on behalf of their parish for the next 3 years (2025 – 2027).
This year, Synod will return to Calrossy Anglican School in Tamworth. Bishop Mark Calder (Bathurst Diocese) will join us on Sunday to preach at our concluding service.
