The Commission for Education and Discipleship is running a training day for all lay people to help equip them to proclaim the gospel. This is not just for lay preachers but for anyone who shares the gospel with others including SRE teachers, bible study leaders, men’s/women’s events, one-to-one bible reading, Christianity explored etc. The aim is to deliver practical and useful guidance from experienced bible teachers and evangelists, in an accessible format and also to provide helpful resources.

The cost of the day will be $25 which includes morning tea, lunch and a copy of John Chapman’s book, “Setting Hearts on Fire: A guide to giving evangelistic talks”. Our trainer is the Rev. David Mansfield who has extensive experience both speaking evangelistically and training others to do the same (see here for more info).
