Sometimes, great things come in small packages. This Australia Day, the Glen Innes Severn Council awarded the Deepwater Anglican Church ‘Volunteer Community Organisation of the Year’.

The Emmaville-Deepwater parish is small but doing so many things. Last year they started a playgroup because they saw a need in their community. The year before, they recommenced services at Torrington after the community got together to refurbish All Saint’s Church. We can’t wait to see what they’ll do next!
