Parish Support
The Commission for Parish Support aims to help the churches of the Armidale Diocese with the practical things that make ministry happen. This includes areas such as administration, property, and technology.
There are many admin and finance tasks that have deadlines over the year. This calendar should help you to keep track.
Every second year, CPS runs a training day to equip people to manage the admin, governance, and finances for their parish. The next training day will be in 2027.

Not every parish has the necessary skills and experience within their congregation to meet their practical needs. The Practical Partners teams are volunteers who give their time and expertise to assist parishes other than their own. Some of the ways they help are remote (bookkeeping, writing policies, websites etc), and some require travel (maintenance projects, installing tech etc).
